Brandon Adams started his boxing journey in backyard brawls. Under the guidance of Hall of Fame trainer Dub Huntley, Adams rapidly progressed, turning pro within two years of starting training - a rare achievement in boxing. Known as “The Cannon,” Adams built an impressive record showcasing his talents across the U.S. and Mexico, attracting attention from training camps with notable fighters like Shawn Porter, Gennady Golovkin and Antonio Margarito. In 2013, he signed with Banner Promotions and competed in ESPN’s Boxcino Tournament. In 2015, he finished as runner-up. Adams revived his career in 2018 on the EPIX network show “The Contender,” winning against Shane Mosley Jr. In 2019, he made his Showtime debut, fighting Jermall Charlo in for the WBC middleweight title.
